Thursday -
Nambucca bound
Join our luxury coach at your designated pick-up for the relaxing,
air conditioned journey stopping for lunch on the way. You will know
you've reached our Holiday Coast when you catch a glimpse of the
banana plantations cloaking the hills. Soon we turn in through the
palms and gardens, to a warm, wonderful Destiny welcome.
Your luggage will be
taken to your rooms while you enjoy a complimentary glass of
champagne ( or juice if you prefer), meet your hosts and be briefed
on Destiny's facilities. Then it is time to unpack and relax until
dinner, or enjoy Destiny's happy hour with reduced beer, wine and
cocktail prices.
Friday - Sawtell Bowling Club
After a hearty breakfast we board the coach North bound to sunny
Sawtell, for a social game of bowls at the Sawtell Bowling Club,
followed by a luncheon at the Club of Chinese Cuisine. Enjoy a drive
through scenic Sawtell viewing the magnificent coastline from
various vantage points.
If time permits, on
your return journey, you will enjoy a trip to the quaint township of
Bellingen where you can absorb the village atmosphere and browse
through the local stores, admire the 1880's department store and
local hotel architecture and if you wish, visit the numerous craft
stores.
Saturday - Nambucca Heads Bowling Club
The day starts off with a group photo taken at the entrance to
Destiny Motor Inn. Then its off to Nambucca Heads Bowling Club for a
game of social bowls. After bowls you will be able to relax in the
air conditioned comfort of the Club whist enjoying your hot
luncheon.
Before heading back to
Destiny you will tour the natural beauty of Nambucca Heads and its
waterways, ending your day with a leisurely walk along the famous
V-Wall to admire the artwork on the man made "wall".
Sunday - Coffs Harbour Ex-Servicemen's Club
Today we head North to the city of Coffs Harbour, where you will
enjoy a game of bowls with the locals at the Coffs Harbour Ex-
Servicemens Club. Lunch will be served in the newly refurbished
Bistro of the Club. After lunch you will visit the Jetty Foreshore
where you can walk the breakwall, look in the shops or simply enjoy
the varied boats in the marina.
The journey home takes
you via the township of Urunga with a stop at The Honey Place where
you can sample some of their unique Honey Mead and the different
varieties of local honey.
Monday - South West Rocks Country Club
Today we head South to the coastal town of South West Rocks, for
your game of bowls, lunch located in the newly renovated and
extended Club. After lunch we take a look at historic South West
Rocks and Trial Bay and admire the spectacular coastline of Smokey
Cape surrounding the lighthouse. We then head back to the Destiny
Motor Inn to prepare for a wonderful party night.
Tuesday - Homeward bound
Sadly….. it is now time to say "goodbye".
Whilst you enjoy a hearty Destiny breakie your luggage will be
collected from outside your room and placed on the coach. You will
depart from the Destiny Motor Inn for Brisbane at approximately 8.30
am. Morning tea on the way with your lunch break at Ballina,
proceeded by a comfort stop en route. Please note arrival time in
Brisbane will be confirmed by your Coach Captain, you will then have
the opportunity to phone friends and relatives to arrange collection
from you drop off point.
